Why board in Miami Beach

If you're staying in South Beach, boarding on the Miami Beach side saves you the drive across the causeway. Within minutes you can be cruising past the waterfront homes of Star Island, through the calm water between the Venetian Islands, or heading south toward Fisher Island and Government Cut.

A typical Miami Beach charter

Most groups start with a slow cruise past Star Island and the islands off the MacArthur Causeway, then head to a sandbar or a quiet anchorage for swimming. In the late afternoon the run back gives you the Downtown and Brickell skyline from the water. On longer charters, some groups also cruise north along the Intracoastal or out along the ocean side of the beach when conditions allow.

Good to know

Parking and arrival details depend on the marina, and we send them with your booking. Weekend afternoons in season are the busiest time on the bay. If you can sail on a weekday or start earlier, the sandbars are calmer.
